Are you an O/O with contract terms they want to force on you? You are not required to remain an employee (company driver) of any company in this country for 1 minute more than YOU choose.

You should have grossed over 1000.00 but only get less than 400.00 deposited. I guess they think that it is such an honor to drive their filthy old trucks that they don't need to pay you what you earned.:biggrin_25513:

Maybe the reason CRE gets so much flack is because their drivers at like pretentious jerks. Right, corneileous?

Pretentious??? How do ya figure? Just because I have something positive to say about a company from which most have a very bad opinion over, most of them generated from the BS claims that people read on here who have never worked for them? Okay, whatever you say. Seems to me like the "pretentious" stamp oughtta be placed on those who run their mouths about something they know very little about.

Do you mean leave for hometime, or quit?

And if hometime- with advance notice, or emergency?

You're a rarity Corneileous. Of all the posters who post anything about CRE, those , like yourself, who post positive things can be counted on one hand's fingers. Even if it took the fingers of both hands to count the positive comments, the negative comments far outnumber the positive and have a similar pattern to them.
"Most" of us have never worked in a sweat shop in China for a few bucks a day either, but I'll bet "most" wouldn't want to based on reports made by those who don't work there either. When we read posts by those who don't listen to the negative, and instead believe that their good attitude will make the difference and they'll succeed where so many report that they've learned otherwise, , --- and then realize that those here who never worked there, --- are correct in the assessments, and then they wind up parroting the same negative sentiments after their CRE experience that they ignored prior to said experience, ---- how do you 'splain that?

Predicting the outcome for those who sign on with CRE is so easy a caveman could do it.
"BS" can come from either side. To discount and/or discredit negative comments because you haven't experienced the reason(s) why, yourself --- personally --- isn't exactly convincing to those who were put through the CRE meat grinder. With the short time that you've been involved with the Big truck truckin' industry, many would consider you someone who knows "very little about" the big picture. If you've only worked for CRE, what experience do you have to compare them to?

You claim that you're doin' fine at CRE and I take your word for it. I'm glad you are. I'm sure there are those who find CRE to be a good fit. That's what I want to hear and I'd like to hear more of. From where I'm standin', the conditions and hoops y'all gotta jump through ain't easy over thar, so it stands to reason y'all gotta be doin' somethin' right, that which I'd imagine "most" everyone wouldn't even attempt.
    That right thar is impressive.
    I respect that.

But to conclude that your example is the norm, could, I think, come across as rather pretentious, or Holier than thou, or in denial, or a plant to counter the negative comments with a more positive pitch. Here on the internent, we can be whomever or whatever we can imagine. On the internet, in reality, I'm just hieroglyphics selectively arranged on a screen with a contrasting background.
On this side of the screen I'm flesh and bone and a beating heart, (brain was back-ordered, --- might be obsolete) with concern for those just gettin' into the Big truck truckin' industry. As such, I've researched CRE, the Company, not the employees of such. I don't agree with some of the Company's business practices and I voice my concerns to anyone listening.
Much like twin air horns, there's the high trumpet and the low baritone sound goin' off, --- blendin' into the one sound we hear that gets our attention. Some folks could be deaf to certain octave frequency range(s) though, --- and only hear one of the two horns a-blowin', --- and not heed the warning. For them we offer blinkin' lights, bells and whistles. We're still workin' on an optional vibrate mode.

IMO, anyone considering CRE should be made aware of what (too) "many" of their former drivers are saying with regularity as compared to positive occasionally posted by a few.
Ultimately, though, it's their decision to make as to what they prefer to believe. We here at TTR have no control over that.
    Influence?
    Maybe.

I think of it as 'Positive Negative' input that completes a circuit,
    as opposed to
Negative Positive --- a short circuit to ground in "many" cases.

Folks should be aware not to touch the red wire, ---
When they're grounded, they could be shocked.

Is anyone leasing with central???i am considering doing so and don't want to get burned. Are the leasing good tractors, and as far as repairs do they require that they be done by a central terminal??? Any info and insight would be helpful...thanks.:biggrin_25511:
