My disagreement with you is not over your political opinions, rather, I object to your prejudice towards a particular religious group, and your attempt to characterize all (or most) of them as being, or acting a certain way.
That (not your avitar) is what I find disgusting...

As I stated earlier, this would not be tolerated if it were directed towards for example, Blacks, Mexicans, Muslims, or Jews

Isn't it great to live in a country where some people have it so good all they have to worry about is somebody's website avatar or supposedly offensive post? Next time anyone gets offended over such nothings, he should get on a plane and go to the third world. That'll get set his head straight.

In some places, people have much more important things to worry about. Like whether or not they'll be eating tomorrow.

I love football, and Jim Mcmahon and Steve Young don't strike me as lazy. And to give up 2 years of the prime of your life to go on mission in some %$@ part of the world doesn't sound very lazy, either.

 

And why do the missionaries go on those missions? To improve their future prospects. When a missionary returns to the fold after two years of service, the first thing he does is kiss his mom.
