When you drive 4,000-5,000 miles on a good week, to get paid only $14oo, and that includes taxes...(PROMISED .50 cpm) but you're too green to know you're being raped. Then you're kicked off the truck because you may soon expose the ripper!!! Shine this light on that dark spot.
DO NOT SUB-LEASE WITHOUT KNOWING ALL YOU CAN ABOUT THE PERSON OR LLC ! YOU ARE IN A POSITION CLOSE TO SLAVERY !
Do what they say, get paid what they pay & like it or... not a lot can be done to recoup your money !
Again, JONATHAN G. (of TRANS AM) BIG SMILES; BIG PROMISES; BIG RIP !!! -

I would have to mention Beech Freight Systems out of Little Rock, Arkansas as being the worst
to work for because they start out with being this big religious type, family oriented and run O/O company who leases their tractors from US XPRESS and pulls US XPRESS trailors, paying a little more per mile than US XPRESS. To make a long story short....after switching over from US XPRESS to work for Beech Freight Systems and running nothing but mainly heavy paper loads, being told I couldn't take my hometime after being out for 3 weeks because I didn't run enough miles for him(the owner of Beech), mainly because the truck stayed in his shop waiting to be fixed for so many days,
and sending my resignation over the qualcomm.....I now have abandonment and discharged on my DAC Report! Needless to say, jobs are hard to find nowadays for a person who had a perfect MVR and DAC before BEECH!!
Since Beech and US XPRESS are together, no companies that US XPRESS owns part of or all of will hire me either!

A friend just delivered seven stops in New England from the west coast. His FSC was to be $1800 but he only received $1300. Since he was being ripped he decided to request additional FSC from all deliveries to cover his expense. Five out of seven agreed and added it to the BOL which this owner operator turned into the company. One company rep stated he did not have the authorization but agreed he should be paid more. One company flat refused to to consider additional money.
Now, my buddy has been an owner operator for thirty years and times are worse now than ever with the fuel costs and still running at 1980 freight rates.
Any Agent or Broker that skims truck expense is a crook. Any company that condones it and profits from it are gangsters. Who will do anything about it? Congress does not care! The state Attorney Generals don't care, and drivers are not smart enough to stand together and fight for what they have a right to receive for their efforts.
So who is the worst company to work for? Must be a whole company of drivers (and) owner operators that don't care enough to stand up and fight.
Company slaves will always get the back end of life because they trade their freedom for the JOB.I will post the complete story of my pal once the dust has settled. Right now he is looking for another company to lease on to. Yes, he got fired for standing up for his self and his business expense money. Shame on the company and shame on the State Attorney General for allowing this to continue year after year.
