Totally wrong!! There is no speeding involved. You all have to quit promoting this fallacy. A random is a random. Please note, the days of the "chicken coop" locked up are over.
Why a strike? The CSA 2010 will cripple trucking.

You know without quoting or atleast using a name in your post people have no idea what your talking about -
Uh...maybe you should actually read the post before you comment on them.
A roadside inspection, is considered a random. But some states still utilize "reasonable cause/suspicion".
Obviously, if you're parked up in a rest area. And your called out for an inspection...there was ZERO truck movement involved.
I never said speeding was actually involved. I mearly pointed out the argument of the ATA and FMCSA.
FMCSA considers all roadside stops to be "speed" related. And there is currently NO provision or method of indicating otherwise on the inspection form.

The main point of what your all saying can be seen on the rails. How many trailers
are being shipped for 48 cents/ mile taking the best lds away from drivers? I belive
they are plannng to use the railroads to reduce dependence on trucks ,and shift
the money to other areas. When I worked for Arnold I ran the Chicago railyards
constantly and ended up with 1200 to 1700 miles a week. So , the turnover rate
went up. You cant go to another co. that does the same thing. But if this continues,
there wont be as much need for trucks, at least OTR.
