When I did fuel hauling, people constantly said “that is dangerous.” It was much safer than P&D. Try taking a huge 3k lb awkwardly shaped skid with a manual pallet-Jack of a liftgate in the rain on a 20 degree slope in a residential neighborhood.
Why are city drivers always grouchy?

Yea that would suck. I had a 3000 lb tote in the nose the other day at a place that doesn’t have a dock. I went back to the service center and put on the tail with a forklift. I’m not about to kill myself over a piece of freight. If the delivery was further away it would have taken a ride back with my pick ups.
HiramKingWilliams Thanks this. -
I’ve never left home without 50’ of 10k capable strapping...a 7’ heavy chain and couple of meat hooks
No dock No problem
No forklift...go get your pick up or whatever
Always a way to get it to the tail -

Just kinda like makin life easier
Kinda like a mechanic buying tools -
I use our straps to have heavy stuff dragged to the back. The only time it didn’t work was on a big motor. Left it in the front, and it rode with me all day.
took it to the customer the next day on the tail. LolGearjammin' Penguin, ‘Olhand and Digman943 Thank this.
