At least mine has a 13 speed and a deer guard. According to the super trucker code that puts me at least ten points above the rest!

Is a Crapcadia really worth paying $20,000 over an international, same year and similar miles?
-
Me personally any emissions equipped truck I’d look at I would consider 2016 model year and up.Last Call Thanks this. -
Man, I could write a small novel on my dislike for them….
I’ve driven multiple brands of sleeper trucks in last year plus.
Mack’s, Volvo, Pete 389, Freightliner, and the dreaded international LT. 18 speeds, 10 speeds and my old Pete was a 13 speed.
The Mack, Volvo, FL autos are actually really good local traffic trucks. The international is garbage and I’ve driven some really low mile ones.
A Tandem axle LT rides worse than a single axle Mack and Volvo… fact. I’ve driven them back to back.
The way the computer shifts the automatic is just puzzling. Upshift and downshifts are so delayed.
A crippled 5 pack a day lady of the night could build better air pressure than an international.
These auto LT things will make you question your cahones every time you cross a railroad track, pull across and intersection or shift from forward to reverse in a tight situation with city traffic coming down on you because if air pressure drops below 100 you get a low tranny air flag and are stuck like a giant slug.
Yes I know if it does it frequently you have a leak somewhere but some of the areas we back into require us to do a pull up or two or three and that is enough to get the air compressor on these wishing it had half a nutsacks worth of gumption, at idle speeds they just don’t build air well. That is enough for me to hate them. Our company has a tiny fleet. They just leased 3 more of these trash wagons and they are taking the Mack’s away from two of us. I suspect job openings here in the very near future. They are that bad. If Mr T. could pity the fool who buys an LT well I feel for you.Blagoje, Kyle G., surf_avenue and 4 others Thank this. -
New they are 40k less than the competition.
