You're right. It's definitely the industry standard. It was just the first time I've ever heard a dispatcher say that out loud. Lol it shows how much I actually talk to anyone in the terminal. Lol

 

I really don't understand what a bad trucking company has to to with the amount of taxes a driver pays. We are all taxed based on income earned and any write-offs or exemptions we may have. The company doesn't decide this. Granted most working Americans feel they pay too much in taxes, but it's been that way forever and has nothing to do with the employer. If you have a beef about your taxes being too high, there's a forum for that, too.
