Im trying to find anyone who can explain to me why my rear drive wheels spin, especially after pulling out from under a heavy load, and once even tying up traffic while bobtailing and pulling out into the street, seeming to be stuck on a ridge that couldnt been more than an inch off from the pavement, Threw it in all wheel drive, checked and tried the air bags and still took effort like I was stuck and about 5 minutes to get clear. Driving a 2006 Frightliner, can anyone enlighten me?
Why are my wheels on the drive axles spinning?

You're on icy roads?

Sounds like a leveling valve problem .... The air bags probably aren't letting air out after the weight is taken off them. Or going over a hump.
(assume he's on dry roads )...... -
Sounds like for some reason the air bags aren't equalizing or are equalizing slower than they should be.

Happens to me all the time, just flip your differential swich but not while spinning, slowly move forward till you gain traction again and turn differential switch off.Could be like one member said, icy or just slick pavement from all the traffic.I deliver to Tyson, every day I lose traction.Could be from all the construction going on who knows.

Thats what someone said , a leveling valve out of sync or something, but its not icy roads but does frquent more on gravel and loose pavement

im guesing leveling valve, are you dumping your air suspension when you drop a trailer, im guessing that your bags are being over extended and bleeding off slowly
Dieselwrangler and silver dollar Thank this.
