I guess I can be considered Eastern European depends who’s interpreting. Yet our cultures are the same at about 95% of the time.

Another curious question is why do they drive with their feet on the dash and a partial side curtain covering drivers side window .

I worked for a company based based out of Phoenix for about 4 months (until my co-driver crashed while I was asleep in the bunk) that was owned by a Russian (maybe Ukranian/eastern European) family The company was not at all like the description of all these "foreign owned 1099 companies" that you find on these forums. Never had any issues with pay, or getting stuff fixed, or anything serious. Actually my co-driver wanted to get paid 1099 and they said no - w2 only.

There never were any crooked Trucking Companies before the Russians. Lots of nice Immigrants from Italy and Ireland. Good Fellas those Guys.
