we get re-fuled by a vendor at night using a bobtail heating oil style truck and a 2" nozzle...size matters!

Wanna really feel uncomfortable? Bought the GF a new Ford Fiesta. There is no cap. You open the little fuel door (hatch, panel?) and bam, there's the filler with no cap on it. The little fuel door is supposed to seal it when closed. Every time I put gas in that car, it bothers me.

The device was wired for 110. He forgot that we use 220.

I used to really like the large size of the fuel tank caps on my old 4300 Internationals. You could easily remove the cap, stick your hand and arm in the tank with a new spin on fuel filter, dip it in the fuel to fill it up,and pull it and install. No fuss,no muss.

Diesel isn't as volatile (doesn't rapidly evaporate) as gasoline. Gasoline fumes contribute to the type of air pollution the EPA measures and EVERYBODY has a car (gasoline).

Gasoline nozzles & hoses may also have a vapor recovery feature that isn't on diesel nozzles/hoses. Not EVERY difference between car drivers & truck drivers is a vast conspiracy against truck drivers even if it's the #1 theory on trucking radio & message boards.

That’s how my 2016 Dodge was. There’s another little flap down in the fill neck. When it was cold I had to stick a screwdriver down into the neck to open the flap to dump Powerservice in otherwise it would just hit the closed flap and drain out onto the ground. Ask me how I learned that. Lol

If you spit on them first, about any size will fit. Wait, what are we talking about again?

Also, think about how high the nozzles would be if a truck had a proper filler neck!

No that's a different problem, that problem means you will never stick it in unless you take the medicine.
