Why are so many companies located in Chicago, IL?

There's nothing mysterious about it.
Poeple who came here don't screw around with politics, pull up their sleeves and get to work, 15 - 20 hours a day for starters. Then build businesses, educate their offspring and instill the cult of hard work. 20 years later live in 1 million houses and never lose focus.
Construction, manufacturing, and transportation in a perfect harmony.
Immigration, 1099 and so called White Volvos are nothing but an empty talk of those who are incapable or full of envy.

 

Because Ohare Internation airport is there and there is direct flights from Russia landing there daily

There are a lot of eastern and central europeans who landed there (like we have in the Detroit area) from the old country, they work together and most of them take advantage of other immigrants who don't know better.

Some of them are the worst owners that can ever exist, taking advantage of the drivers to the point some of them are no better off here than they were over there. While only a few of them treat the drivers better than Megas the bottom line is they work together, so like middle easterners they are connected and get things done like buying trucks and so on.

Nothing really wrong with these immigrants owning a fleet and providing jobs but when they undercut people, not pay drivers and treat them as if they are slaves, this is a problem for all of us.

 

Like yours about Russians isn't.
This Russian mafia talk makes me laugh.
They work hard and build business too.
There's maybe 300 000 Russian speaking population here, which isn't even the largest in the country.
New trucks and excellent service they provide. Had it been otherwise, life would have verified that long time ago.

I don't blame anybody for avoiding Chicago politics. Politically speaking, if DC is a swamp then Chicago is a cesspool.

If Chicago is such a cesspool and crime infused place, how come it is still thriving with businesses and shiws overall wealth that you can hardly find anywhere else in the country?
