Why are so many companies located in Chicago, IL?

Your statement is very, very unfair. Please reconsider...calling so many citizens and hard working poeple in Chicago Euro trash, based only on their origins, propagating undeserved hatred.
There was a place and time in history when people with the surname of Goldman were treated very unfairly too.
Many of them also lived in Eastern Europe and then emigrated from there to the United States of America where everyone is equally destined to pursue their happiness.
Let's refrain ourselves from trying at all cost to hurt someone's feelings on this public forum.

 

Puff Puff Pass please. We cant wash the stench of FIBS off of us quick enough when they blow their "hard" earned money here. The easiest money i have made is slinking over the Illinois border and putting up with their politcs. Hush money, extra set percentage added to every bid to secure work yadda yadda. All the typical big city bs. How many Illinois governors did prison time? Ha.

Hard work? Anything in the food industry. Doesn't matter where. Period.

 

I won't reconsider... The eurotrash tracksuit truckers in white volvos do enormous damage to spot market rates along with giving this industry a blackeye. They are no different than the Glendale armenian con artists.... Also "Goldman" is not my real name.

 

Perhaps, you were here rather unsuccessful and now your are uninspired.
It happens. I hope you did or will do better elsewhere.
I don't really know why politics is mixed in here. The thread title asked why so many trucking companies.
Illinois borders are open to enter and to exit.
I personally will be leaving Chicago area upon retirement or close to it due to my weariness of highly urban surroundings.
Or so, I hope.
