BTW I just hear something new, don't know if it is true or not but I was told that you are safe from the speed cameras unless you see then flash 3 times, I ain't gonna try it but if some of you speed demons want to test the theory go right ahead and then let us all know if this is true
I did see one flash once several months ago and thankfully I didn't get a love letter.
Why are trucks driving in the inside/high speed and HOV lanes?

there is some legal action starting on them but if that fails look for them to be placed all over AZ. -
I had heard they had them on 40. I have not been out there since October.
I was only running 65 so I was not the least worried going through the state. -
oh and trooperrat if you are turning in trucker just because they are hindering your ability to hammer down, then that just ain't right there are at least 4 lanes in the area a truck is using ONE of them so choose one of the other THREE.
and if you still insist on taking actions that could destroy a man or womans ability to make a living for his family then,Last edited by a moderator: Feb 17, 2009

Sure has changed in trucking anymore.
Trucker after trucker. Not sure you can count on some of them anymore.
I know that most have other issues they are dealing with. I understand that and am prepared to accept it.
I know alot of the traffic gets really backed up around the cities and the hov lanes are used in alot of cities by the large cars. They have schedules to keep and unfortunately most are not paid by hour. -
I don't think personally i have ever been in a HOV lane but unless there are restrictions and I can do the speed limit all the other lanes are fair game, I am going to use the lane that is safest to use period!!

Especially around Minneapolis. Chicago is a close second.
psanderson Thanks this. -
OK I'm confused...first he said trucks in the HOV lane going slower than the other lanes, then they were flying through over 10mph above the limit, then the hours of the HOV requirements, then ......... I'm so CONFUSED
In Phoenix, the standard let em go limit is 70, even tho the posted speed is 65---this from the local PD I know I asked him directly... as for being legal in the HOV after hours yes we are..it is just another travel lane.
Besides, if I can run the hammer lane with three or four lanes to my right, that keeps me that much farther from the Swift rookie coming on the freeway at 75th. LOLOLOLarky870, Wiseguywireless, psanderson and 1 other person Thank this. -
I have to agree, if there are no laws regarding trucks in left lane and they are maintaining the speed limit there is no reason to be reporting them and I can see companies just laughing at you because you are reporting their driver for doing something that is not against any law??? What are you reporting then for holding you up? Maybe they are over there because crackheads like to swerve across three lanes of traffic from the onramps and they'd like to avoid that mess?

Seems real safe to be driving a vehicle and filming another one for 5 minutes.
Glad I was not around them.psanderson Thanks this.
