Well ... you picked the right username.
BTW, I use the hammer lane in Phoenix for one simple reason ... I can!
But I'm definately not holding up traffic. At least not until I see the cameras.

This old retired federal DOT official wonders how anyone can safely drive down any highway while videotaping? That's no different that using a cell phone. You're not concentrating on the specific issue at hand. It tends to make one an unsafe driver and no different than reading a newspaper, magazine, some other document, or fixing one's hair in the rear-view mirror while drinking coffee and steering with one's knees which we've all seen driving down highways looking down at 4-wheelers.

Umm.... I have been known to visit the Hammer Lane from time to time. Am sure that I was not holding up traffic as well.
I try not to get too worked up by the pups in the Hammer doing their best impression of a Big Dog at 1.5 mph faster then the truck they are trying to pass. -
Their is no such thing as a hammer lane only a speed limit!

If I'm in that lane you can rest assure I'm not holding anyone up, it's usually a 4 wheeler that not going fast enough for me.

The guy is only 20 and not a driver. He probably never seen a hammer in a lane before....
