HOV Is the only Lane to run in PHX. from AJ all the way to Avondale, I believe it is the safest, and I am considerate to the faster vehicles by getting out of the hov well before they come up on my bumper.
Why are trucks driving in the inside/high speed and HOV lanes?

Hell yeah they have cameras!!! I believe the cameras now start at the 109 yard stick goineg eastbound on 10 and at 155 going westbound. I know they have em on Loop 101 all the way around Phoenix and I'm sure they have em on US 60 now and Loop 202 but I'm not sure where Don't forget they also have the MOBILE cameras. Blue and white DPS (Highway Patrol) SUV's parked on the side of the road with a pole sticking about 8-14' into the air with a cam and a speed sensor. But at least Phoenix was nice about it and they put two signs up that say PHOTO ENFORCEMENT AREA and either 1/2 MILE or 300 FEET. So don't say you don't know where they're at!!! If you get caught you weren't reading yousr signs!!!

Well....have no tickets, no accidents in the large truck and with my pickup and I've been driving longer than you've been alive. I don't come to your fair state so don't worry your safe.

Here's a fun fact about those cameras in Phoenix: if you're on a motorcycle you can get around them! My father-in-law has a motorcycle he rides to work and told me he can see the sensors on the road and goes around them.

Great reply Amen

It is just a revenue generator. If you are caught you pay a 165.00 fine and no points on driving record so that insurance companies don't get ntoification.

Perhaps that's because there was a dash-mounted camera in the rig?

Yes, I am a traitor and back - only temporarily - to respond to this foolishness. The driver in question was on a State highway in the middle of nowhere, in the high speed lane - it's been called that since I was a kid so I will continue to call it that now - for 20 plus miles. If you wanted to pass the truck, you had to get into the "slow" lane. I sat behind him in the high speed lane wanting to pass him for that length of time, as I do not like passing in the slow lane. I eventually did after watching at least 50 other vehicles do the very same thing.
