Why are trucks driving in the inside/high speed and HOV lanes?

I have a little bumper sticker on one of my trailers that says..."If there is a problem with this truck call" and then I have my cell phone number on it. I enjoy it when professional snivelers call to whine about "Your driver is speeding, cut me off, in the wrong lane" and all of the other reasons that they can think of to try and get a driver in trouble with his company!
I usually tell them..."I'm the driver/owner and it never happened so, Have a nice day!"

    PURE ENTERTAINMENT!

The bypass you talk about is I-8 to SR 85, not I-17 bypass. yeah its not far out of the way. I run that way to, but I usually come in from US60 in AJ. and you can bet if its not during restricted times, you'll see me in the HOV.

Here is what I think of the people who hate when drivers use the left/fast lane. There is no such thing, the speed limit in the fast lane (left) is the same as the middle or right.. I drive the left a lot and if you do not like it to bad.. It is hard for me to stay in the right, as people are either trying to get on, or off the freeway. They also like to drive way under the speed limit as well. That means I would have to constantly move over to the middle, then back to the right or slow down, causing me to use my brakes more than I need to.. The only time I avoid the left lane is when it is posted, "No Trucks Left Lane".

Grrrrrr..... been following thread... but am confused.,. Did TrooperRat morph into DriverDude? Either way, TrooperRat and DriverDude you seem very antagonistic in your posts. Yes, I get it that slower traffic should keep right... and your upset that some trucks in the HOV lane are going slower than the speed limit... but that's life... if not a truck you are also going to find a 4 wheeler not going the speed limit in the HOV lane... Who do you call then, their mom... I don't think it is cool to be calling a truckers company because they are in a lane they can legally be in and you don't like it... and again, your posts seem antagonistic and like your looking for a fight... for example, no one said you are only 20, they were talking about the 20 year old who posted about there being no hammer lane... but you took up arms and ran with it... Now i am not wanting to get into with you, I just wanted to tell you that those who go looking for a fight usually find one... Here it's only words on the screen... but at truck stops it can be worse... now don't read into this that I am getting all machismo and wanting to fight you at a truck stop... I am not... I am a Goddess and therefore no machismo here... I just think your attitude and turning in drivers may get you in over your head someday...

Did that company put you on hold?
The reason I ask is because it was probably his company the driver in question was texting and paying more attention to on the phone.
