Why are u all sueing all these companies?

How is the state going to help you if your an interstate driver...
The state ciuld only help an intrastate driver.....not an interstate.
Under Federal law you are entitled to $07.25 an hr for all those miles they didnt pay you for when you thought you were making $37.50 an hr...it was only $07.25.....
1099 is a contract....if they let you have a copy good luck getting it out of their hands.....
Make sure it says the agreed cpm or flat rate amounts.....or any supposed "guaranteed wkly minimum.
If yoy want to run someone off recruiting you for 1099 just ask for a sample blank contract....you won't hear from them again.....
But there is advantages to 1099 if its a legitimate arrangement....but you should incorporate....
I Work 1099.......W2 you can't claim $68.00 a day for meals and incidental expenses...1099 you can....
I don't need company benefits.
I can invest my own money.
My health is good and in Gods hands
I don't have six kids to insure.
I make .20 more a mile than w2 .
.12 perdiem w2 does not make up for the $20,000.00 M&IE the government took away a couple yr back.
I would say it all depends on your situation what you can or should do.
Probably most people who would say absolutely nobody should do 1099
Are the same persons who wouldnt risk leasing or going O/O or I/O/O.
So....you know it takes all kinds.so they say....
But I was a trades contractor before I drove...A 1 man band that did it all and had to because I couldn't keep good help.....
So instead of working 20 hrs a day as a contractor now that I'm old......I work. 17 as a driver....which is easier....a friggin cake walk.....gravy train compared to how I labored before driving!....Thank God for driving!
I know a little about law suits to ....
I spent 75K defending a false allegatiob designed to steal my inheritance as a sole benificiary... Just taking depositions and interrogatories....It's an evil world where there's $....there's people who will lie to steal it.
