Are volvos something that most small mechanics don't work on, with respect to their engines?
That's the only reason I would go for a Cummins or a detroit, is cheaper (than the big shops) help and everyone seems to say they are easy to get parts for, lower cost parts and lots of small mechanics work on them. I can't say I know that to be fact, just a consensus of what I am hearing in my judgement. Bear in mind, I'm going to stick my wallet toes in the water, but don't want to throw it in the water, if you get my drift.
Why are Volvos so much better than all other Class 8 trucks?

Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
I asked their waitress for a suggestion. She told me the Marionberry was the best.
Dang good piece of pie all warmed up and ala mode with a cup of coffee.
I thought I’d tell you this...and then almost erased it since you don’t normally park at mega TS. Anyway...give it a try if you get out this way.Tall Mike Thanks this. -

FYI, that taco truck across from the J ain't half bad. I highly recommend the Philly cheesesteak. Its nothing like I get in Philly, but different in a good way. -
Socal Xpress Thanks this.
