    My 2018 Camaro will float just fine, low rpm but it will do it. My 73 Fiat spider not so much. Clutch pedal broke and I mulched 3rd on the way home a few years ago but those transmissions are junk anyways so that probably had something to do with it.

    I've been able to shift without the clutch, but it certainly isn't as easy as it is in a truck.

    My first car was a 73 Spyder. I lost 3rd gear one day just hitting a pot hole while accelerating.
