I am.
Maybe you saw Southern California in the 1970’s before smog equipment and unleaded fuel? Maybe you didn’t. If you live anywhere around here you’d want all the smog stuff intact. I’d really like for coops to start pulling trucks from the road that aren’t legal. Do that a few hundred times in a week and see what the old iron guys do. Probably retire and continue to complain about California full time. I’m ok with that.
Why are Volvos so much better than all other Class 8 trucks?

I've owned 3 Volvos 1 with spring ride steer axle 2 with the air ride. I much prefer the ride with the spring on steer axle.Johny41 and Midnightrider909 Thank this. -
Wisdom^^^... I usually just get em to greese it while I’m getting something else done.. I have no problem doing it at home tho.. the Volvo is kind of a pain to get up under there with full fairingsLast edited: Sep 18, 2018

I really don't understand owner operators who write reviews about trucks that have less than 100k miles. Write reviews of trucks that have 800k plus miles.

While it looks like the same thing with other trucks, there are difference within that package compared to its bigger brother Mack truck that help soften the right.
By the way, I owned a few Volvo recently, what a bunch of junk. PLASTIC everywhere however my next RV truck will be a 780. I have a 2016 sitting in my yard with a crapped out engine, the owner put so much money trying to keep it running, he couldn't do much more with it. I towed it from the dealer when I bought it and five other trucks, glad he paid for the work before I bought it, new everything from front to back, including inframe work. It was back on the road for a month before the engine took a crap.Bean Jr. Thanks this. -

I can attest to Volvo's comfort. Lately, I had the opportunity to ride a brand new International Navistar LT 625...not even close. Everybody around has had problems with Volvo engines, so If get a Volvo again it had better had Cummins in it so it lasts longer. It takes longer to get it when it is specked with this engine.
