You mean after I've been driving since 0200 and get to my reserved spot at 1300? I'd say it makes me ready for a nap. Some nights I get to my spot after midnight. Any more questions?

4 or 5 days on, 2 or 3 days off to recover. Every week is different. I usually drink OJ when I wake up. Don't do energy drinks or coffee.

    100 trucks a day at $25/truck, 365 days a year works out to over $900,000 a year.

    I'm in the wrong business.

Many truck stops that charge for parking do not really give drivers a reason to spend money in the store. Convenience(the chains) and individuality with amenities (Midwest Truck Stop in Cuba, MO) will make a driver spend some money. Now the aforementioned Midwest Truck Stop has a massive lot and doesn't charge, they have everything a driver needs. The one truck stop in Smith's Grove, KY charges for parking but you go into the store, and check it out, and it ain't like the place is screaming for me to buy something in there. People will spend their money in places that have what they need. Chips and soda, I dont need or want that often.

I dont use cash to pay for spots at PFJ either. I only buy spots when necessary, as they take points too.

You're saying some good stuff here. I remember that someone told me that a truck stop or gas station does well to make a nickel per gallon of fuels. He said that dont even pay lights.

I think they would charge less if they didn't have to clean up so much trash. While I was in getting a sandwich, this ##### dumped dog food, old corn dogs, cigarette butts, and various other trash.

There was a trash can right behind the trailers.
