Why are we so concerned with fuel prices?

Will increased fuel costs put you out of business?

I was home when this spike started and left omaha yesterday on a run to York penn I frequently do ...was thinking I'll bet this will slow people down .
NOPE ! , I ran 62 to 64 mph from omaha to toledo and only had to pass 3 trucks , the rest blew by me like fuel was free .
Lots of crying here but very few watching theyre money .

$40 per 360 and $60 a 3 ft slide double if upside down was the last I remember.

I was thinking the same thing. I am not going to be passed by a Prime truck but did go from 70 down to 65 just because. Very little difference in my day as I typically don’t run many miles and the standard increase in MPG for every MPH slower. .5 increase would typically allow my fuel surcharge to pad my pocket slightly.

Same here...speaking of high fuel prices, he was the one who would say that he'd welcome the challenge as a new opportunity to better the business...
Well, I never fell for Turbo 3000 or Mercury balancer but I did fall for his signature scangauge...that's all right, I use it and if I lose it, I'll replace it again.
Not sure, how it helps with mpg or if it paid for itself after.6 years now but I watch boost when going up the hill and find the oil pressure readings more visible than the ones on the dashboard gauge.
