Why are we so concerned with fuel prices?

Will increased fuel costs put you out of business?

That's right. I am only curious, if the administration's energy policy measures are not overrated in their influential powers, so that the "I did it" can be given the full credit to them.
I'd agree, if it were still at $3.5 per gal but not completely certain at $5.50.

I hope it will be finished with the next administration. Unless such an engineering undertaking loses its footing when it is abandoned like that and needs to be redone from scratch.

I pulled into a Terrible’s in Pahrump NV once and they had 100 and something octane at the pump. I sent a pic to my cousin and said I was going to see what my camper van would do on it. Lol

Yeah I bought 125g yesterday thinking it would keep climbing. I don’t use NASTC anymore, but TCS usually mirrors them.

LOL. Avoided a 50¢ increase then have a 70¢ decrease two days later. Which is actually ok by me. What matters is when you need it, and I won't need any more until after the drop.

What also tends to remain the same is the spread between certain states on net price. With the exception if I go crazy and take an unusual run, that game plan will continue to pay off regardless of where the averages rise and fall.

I just got word of this a few minutes ago. I'm not NASTC but a good friend is and called me. I'm TCS these days but honestly Mudflap beats them often wherever I find myself. We're both trying to figure out if it's a misprint.

I'm confused though, what's the bad news?

Could have just been a boomerang effect. Those alerts are widely received. I was kind of not joking in my earlier post about such an announcement for a large increase tomorrow would create chaos today. So maybe it did, and nobody was buying when the price shot up today. That is, creating a suddenly "weak" market driving the market back down even further than it went up due to panic buying, along with people that might have otherwise short filled topping off instead.
