Why aren’t all the low clearances in Rand McNally Atlas programed into Hammer?

Why does Rand Mcnally gps still lead to low bridges when it's supposed to be the info from their atlas?

    Ask Rand McNally tech support.

Be sure to have road/hwy numbers & bridge locations/clearances at the ready before your call.

Then tell the rest of us what they say....:dontknow:

STAA truck routes dont get changed often enough either. IL has their own map, which cost me 75 bucks for being on US 52 between I55 and I80.Rand finally got around to correcting that in the paper atlas years later, although a previous atlas did get it right for 1 year, and then it got changed back to being in error. The deputy gave me a copy of the map and advised me it wouldnt do any good to take it to court and show my copy of the Rand McNally Motor Carrier Atlas. There were no signs in evidence, either. But the official map the state uses showed it to not be a STAA route. IL puts up signs for Class 2 and Class 3 truck routes on some county hwys.

Thank you so much for this feedback, that is a valid point. Hammer's routing and mapping data is provided by a third party provider HERE Technologies. We value your insight and this will be shared with our development team as we work to improve the application and user experience. Your use and support of Hammer is greatly appreciated @Nahbrown !

She was a deputy sherriff in Will county, which is always broke. Being supervised by another officer in another car, IL doesn’t do night time stops solo very often.

The really sad thing is Rand McNally headquarters is in Schaumburg, IL. Gives me little confidence in that atlas or their devices.
