    He/she does sound like a "special person", doesn't he/she?

Even though I am home every week (I run local/regional) I still do my recap ever week. Simply put, if I get pulled in for an inspection it saves the inspector time and makes me look more professional. But, I work a lot of 13 hrs days during the week and I vounteer to work weekends every week if there is work. Maybe once every 3 or 4 months will I hit 70hrs and have to take a reset in mid-week. But I'm always watching my rollover hours.

Wait until we are all on EOBR's then no one will know how to do a recap and they will pray the computer is correct.

My theory has always been not give them anymore then the law requires so even when I did keep never in the log also never volunteer info that they don't need to know
hrs and location of change of duty that's it
As for professionalism I have found that term used most often when someone is trying to get someone else to volunteer more time or screw themselves over

Yes this is exactly right. Restarts are NOT mandatory.

I think he's referring more about new drivers who restart when they don't really have to because they might not understand the h.o.s rules.

I was told by the trainer at my work that its just there to make the job of the weigh masters easier and that I did not want to do that..

After my last episode by my self I plan to do the recaps now.... Also plan to number my log pages 1, 2, 3, for fast reference..
