not trying to argue....but....fast trks havent been gone for 20 yrs.....granted 78 isnt fast...but faster than a lot out here today....i have been out here for almost 22 yrs...and i have driven triple digit trks...owned one as a matter of fact....and it hasnt been that long ago...granted there arent near as many as there used to be....and the days of a 5X4 are rare now......

I had a fast truck until my last two years I got castrated. I was upset at first, but you get use to it and can still make the same money with a few adjustments.

The way I look at it is as a company driver you are paid money to perform a service for a company. They tell you what to do and in return they give you a check and benefits. When you look for a job make you a list of what's important to you and seek it out.

A fast truck doesn't make anyone a better truck driver. When you drive for a living it's time to throw the vrooom vroooom out the window. :)

This statement is what's wrong with this country. People don't mind government passing stupid laws and telling business's how to run their business, but if a business makes a decision then employees need to revolt!!!

I'm home everyday, weekends off, and make 90k. My truck does 61. Don't feel bad for me.

And never say never. Companies change policies all the time. Only fools select trucking companies based on speed of the tucks.
