Now you guys do the same to these governed drivers as you blame them to do to you..!!
There's courtious fast drivers, there's courtious slow drivers, there're low flying cowboys who don't give a poop about anything, there's frustrated governed drivers...
I've been young too, trying to get my average speed over a 100 clicks when the speedlimit was only 80... Wasn't very smart, I have to admit. It's a bit the same as this jamin fellow. If he wants to do 75 - 80 mph with big loads of diesel fuel I don't think that's very smart. When he would do dry van with 65k gross weight I wouldn't mind at all...
why do drivers stand for governed trucks?

I haul mostly gas bro.
65 is no safer than 75, especially when traffic is moving 80 -
I don't stand for governed trucks. I sit and relax.
Raiderfanatic, DrtyDiesel and joseph1135 Thank this. -
I guess our paths have never crossed, I don't know you and you DON'T know me. So who's blaming who? Just making a statement. Unless of course you have a guilty conscious and never look in your left mirror count 3 blinks and turn your wheel then that might explain it all.
As far as the Triple Digits go, it's like this there are those that have and those that wish they could.
Fuel mileage is all a matter of opinion, you can't haul feathers all of the time so if you're grossed out or even overloaded it's what pays the fuel. Another choice and decision one makes, I haul by the pound not the boxes in the box.
I'll be courteous, I can't say I even heard of "courtious". -
I drive 58 mph as a o/o. I could go faster but slowing down picks up 1.75 miles per gallon and I haul cars so my tires have a lot shorter sidewall than you guys.
