Why do moving companies have extended sleepers?

This is what I think it is...

Try moving EVERYTHING out and back in with just 2 people. You need at least 4 or 5 men to do a 4 bedroom house.

I'd see the moving crew come into the truck stop and it looked like they had been at the gym all day.

I know I don't want to move anything up 2 flights of stairs

Taylor Swift has a tour bus, the guy who hauls her concert stuff around has a tour sleeper.

What I'd like to know is how do they avoid over length tickets with extended sleepers and 53' trailers

45,000!!!! Are you kidding me? No "f"ing way. 26-28,000 is considered a full load. 30,000 is called s super heavy load.

Plus 1 trainer with 3 months experience. The truck would never have to stop except for when it is lying on it's side.

I don’t understand the concern(jealousy) about big sleepers. Some of us like to live like people, why would I want to use facilities where nasty truck drivers shower. Mine has never had more than 2 people in it and most of the time it’s just me.
I guarantee you no bed bug lumper is allowed to use the facilities in the truck.

What length laws are you talking about, just stay off of restricted routes if needed.

Yep, if I hadn't run a lot of Canada, and stayed in the lower 48, I would have had one myself, and I doubt I would have even fixed many meals in it unless my wife was with me.

Somewhat true...I usually eat one meal a day in the TS just so I'm out of the truck!! The sink and shower are the two things I use most, especially after tying down a load: I like to feel/smell great when I bounce down the road.
