Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

Do you know price ..... if your gonna bad mouth our $139k chromed Pete you need more than a possible 530 and no price .

I put these trucks up always with price so we can compare. The Pete’s a real nice work truck. Not full time off road truck. Tho.....

 

Sure, but as I wrote before, dealers don't stock trucks here. Almost all trucks are build to the specs of the customer. So finding a price for a rare DAF CF 6x4 is a bit difficult. But new XF tractors (with the bigger cab) can be found for € 100,000 or less.

 

92000€ for top spec daf 530, incl roof air condition

 

I found a price of € 75,000 for a brand new DAF CF 6 x 4 Euro 3 model (for export).

 

Why did they dropp the price by 10 grand?

 

Sales gimmick probably.... but that’s not a bad price for that truck...

 

I found an Australian video of the CF 6 x 4. Compare that cab with the cramped Kenworth day cab.

The CF is meant for regional work as you could hear in the video. It isn't a proper sleeper cab, it is, as I call it, a day cab with a bed, where you can have a nap, or sometimes spend one night.

That mastodon is not meant for regional work. It may look very impressive with all those chrome pipes etc. sticking out on all sides, but I know most of it is just that, making an impression.

 

Funny , a market that can buy what they want , DAF did not sell well , HUH !
