99.99. Quite a large sum for a 12 year old kid.

My father would never give me money for wants, only needs such as food and clothing. At the time i hated it however those lessons served me very well as i grew into an adult.

 

i get mine when i was 8year old.
i wanted it for over a year. it was not about money, but he wanted me to wait. i have seen it first time at girl from school(she is today in truck industry too, but in competition...) her father is friend of mine trucker too, he helped to get it as at that point there was no nintendo available here, so you had to get it from abroad.
cant remember price, mine is without zapper light gun, get two games with it, the legend of zelda and journey to silius.....great times spent.

 

Mine came with duck hunt and super mario brothers. Sucks you missed out on the light gun. Duck hunt was fantastic. That darn dog is still funny 30+years later.

I don't remember journey to silius, but Zelda is one of the all time greats.

couldnt tell ya. Heck that was 30 years ago. I'm lucky i even remember the dog.

Many of friends had NES clone, mostly Super com 72, very few people had geniune NES.

they had gun and i have played duck hunter. They were awful quality will last like half year or shorter. Quality of games were terrible...
