    @haycarter
    What suspension does the K200 have at the front?

    Are the cabs on the hoods also without suspension ?

    Parabolic Leaf springs are Standard ,with Multileaf available for severe duty applications.

    NO, they have Airbags under the rear of the Cab (or sleeper if fitted)..

    Then i really don't understand why they don't put suspension under the cab off the K200.
    I have to be honest,i had to watch that video 3 times to be shure about what i was seeing.
    Here it is unhearded off to make a truck without full cab suspension.
    I know that the outback is nearly all hoods but i image taking that K200 over corrogated roads most be hell .:(

    Ps i like the modern look you Aussies gave the K200.

    Not unheard, mb day and extended day cabs got 2 point suspension as serial with 4 as 500eur option. Sleeper cabs with engine tunnel comes too.
    Most people do spec 4 point of course, but public trucks( municipal companies, fire services), most often get them with 2. If some constuction company is looking to save money compare ypu with cheap brands...and dont really understand anything about trucks they get 2 point too. Car carriers got 2 point too, 4 point makes cab 30mm higher, so it makes problem.

    Daf ,as far as i know,is allways 4 point suspension.
    Either airbags or shockabsorbers.
    Ride is similiar between the 2 but the bushings wear out with the shocks(5y).
    Airbags last a long time.
