Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

    Yep, burning clean coal is wonderful. It doesn't pollute the air. Clean emissions from exhaust pipes are also very good:

    With that theory our NA trucks with large vertical exhaust is better for air quality than your preferred low mount horizontal exhaust.

    So, using that convoluted train of thought there was no need to close all those Coal fired power stations then??

    Just build the the Exhaust stacks Higher,,,,,..HHmmmmm, Interesting theory..

    I just knew that understanding the difference between very concentrated local pollution and more widespread pollution would be to much for you.

    Sure, if you make the stacks 100 feet high so that they will stick out over the rooftops.

    Hardly. But handling them properly, giving them the right kind of food etc. can reduce their yearly 175kg of methane emission considerably.

    The rising global temperature does harm the permafrost areas, and that causes huge amounts of methane to be released.
