Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

    Vibrations transfered from flange, pump type are not very problematic..many bodybuilders dont respect manuals related to torque, tightening torque, angles, weight of driveshaft etc.

    I cannot say.
    Talked to the boss off my dealership and he says they have not had a single EURO 6 MX 13 or MX 11where they had to replace that.

    I know Volvo has replaced the box on certain trucks (different setup,here Volvo is fixed vane turbo with hardly any EGR and high DEFusage).
    But all have been done under warranty so no $$$$ amount has been told to the client.

    I haven't had to replace any SCR catalysts, but a couple DOC on the MX. I know my dealer has replaced SCR catalysts on the MX. Cost to blow, ultrasonic wash, and bake my DPF is $400. That doesn't include clamps, gaskets, etc. Guys I know that work on NA Volvo say they are a joke. Between injector and cup issues and MIL lights that are always on, technicians don't have much good to say about them.

    the color of 1 box shows that it was overheated badly. the doser block, which is made in Austria junk after 500k miles some day will start leaking internally and will destroy 1 box. to avoid overheating the doser block must be changed every 500k miles and DOC temp gauge must be installed on truck to monitor DOC inlet/out temperature. the high temp fault code pops up at 1400f and that time 1 box is already damaged. if euroidiot engineers would have set it up at 1275-1300 f nothing would happen. but then they would have less overpriced 1 boxes sold. overall 1 box idea is stupid. the DOC and SCR must be separable .

    DAF Tropco tractor of the Royal Netherlands Army. There are two versions, one with 480 hp for a maximum load of 40 tonne, the other with 530 hp and a winch for a maximum load of 65 tonne.

    There are armoured versions as well, the Royal Netherlands Army and the Royal Canadian Army used them in Afghanistan.

    Old ex-Netherlands army DAF YB-616 6x6 tow truck. It had a 10 tonne crane, a 20 tonne winch at the front, and a 9 tonne winch at the rear.

    ex-Netherlands army DAF YA-328 on its side (engine missing!). It is a 3 tonne 6x6 truck, and it had two spare wheels (one on each side, not mounted here) that also functioned as support wheels in terrain. Notice the very distinctive and patented H-drive, with drive shafts in longitudinal direction to the worm drives at the wheels.
