Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

I am here now,

some of our drivers went to Canada, including my cousin, but some are returning because they realize they work much more than they used to.

I think going from US to EU is more difficult, but in last 2years things become easier..... my country used laws that you need more time to get all categories in driving licence, this way they prevent inexperienced young boys to sit behind full size truck+trailer

I grew up in The Netherlands, and I could not imagine driving a truck there, today. Some of the guys there have neat gigs, like running China to Western Europe (when they aren't relieved of their fuel / fuel money somewhere in Russia.)

Others do 50 mile average round trips per day, and they take ALL DAY to do it.... I'd rather run Cabbage every day of the week than dealing with bumper to bumper traffic all day.

And what's with the "no trucks on Sunday" stuff, anyway? Who thought that was a good idea?

 

Are you sure? Seems a bit unlikely to me. There are trains running between China and Rotterdam/Antwerp etc.

Traffic can be bad in the Netherlands, but not that bad!

The Germans ..... It's only in Germany as far as I know.
