Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

I am telling you Caesar once again. if its number 1, best of the best in eu does not mean it can be good for Americans. Volvo 780 is good truck for here and it can be bad for you, your market. I will not try to explain you that if you take it to eu you will like it ))))

Ok, lets look at XF105. How is it made?

Yep, Paccar MX engine, ZF transmission, Wabco ECAS, WABCO EBS, VDO VIC and DIP4 instrumental cluster.

So DAF shares many parts and systems with other trucks.

Ok, ZF transmission may be installed on ANY US truck and many EU trucks, exept of Scania, Mercedes ore Volvo and now Renault.

Wabco ECAS is used on Iveco, MAN, Scania, Mercedes.

Wabco EBS - Iveco, some MAN (becouse MAN generally has Knorr Bremse), Mercedes and other.

What is really unique for DAF trucks?

 

Volvo is cool truck too. With any engine! Yep, we all know about complicated wiring, but for driver and owner it is cool truck! And Volvo trucks are popular in Europe too

 

Because most of those mx-13s didn't have a dpf.(until this year?)

 

BTW, euro-5 MX13 got no DPF, they fit it later to E6

Cat,i know you will not believe this but in EU they have as good as no issues with the DPF's.
Not just Daf but all brands.
I haven't hearded off anyone having to do a parked regen.
