Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

can you get me photos of concrete pumps used there, saw lot of times photo of Man with Putzmeister 5axle, saw 5axle Magirus, but i am still looking for photo of real truck

 

But it does have NA tail lights.

 

Scania had 2 experimental phases with USA,one at early 1960s Holmes transportation CT had some Scania trucks on test, conclusion is truck is ok but need modification, Holmes had usually Mack fleet, I have heard today they even had cabovers .

Than in 1978 4x LB81 4x2 distribution refer body trucks , were imported to CT , trucks were used on highway instead and had too many rpm, as they had distribution transmission , this bring few engine problems .

at may 1985 Scania enter into USA market, with models:

P112m 4x2 and 6x4 tractors,
P112h 6x4 tractor and rigid
R112m 4x2 and 6x4 tractor
T112m 6x4 tractor
T112h 6x4 tractor and rigid.

had only 5cabs ( in europe we had 7) engines were only 308 and 341hp 11L turbo intercooler, gearbox were gr871 10speed range.

I guess there was about 10% of all combinations offered at that time in Europe

they left market in end of 1992

total 700-800 trucks sold

As truck on photo you post have trilex wheels it can be 1985 and 1986 , ( this one is 1986)

Scania misunderstood some law related to brakes so they bring front axle from South America , which was available only with trilex-spoke wheels

I mean concrete pumps used in chernobyl, i have tried to search for them i get only number how many of them were, i saw 5axle man, saw 5axle Magirus, saw Man with lead cab, I am looking for Mercedes pumps which were used there

 

They all were utilized becouse of radiation

so I cant find any alive vehicle

 

I saw them at google maps, they still exist , but i wonder if you are able to find photos, i have been trying to search on cyrilic but without much results

some rumors says one pump end in greece and mixer drivers were complaining on health problems when they are close to pump, also read that one pump was in germany and it was spotted on highway by worker from putzmeister and he called police and they buried pump
