Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

I wonder if anyone ever heard/saw 24.5inch wheels that fit to European pattern lug, not 24inch for Middle east/Africa/Asia.... but 24.5inch

I have find out Scania had them in USA ( but never saw them on photos)

IMO, in Ukraine 24.5 will not be useful becouse of many popholes every spring, especially in West Ukraine

It is unique system! Any Paccar dealer can fix anithing, but suspentios! He has some unique tools for its diagnostics

 

Yes, they use many DAF parts, incl. the engine. And as long as they use a DAF engine, they can also use a DAF cab. It's a very small company, and yet they design and build all kind of special vehicles. This is the whole factory:



When you watch this video, please pay attention to the unloading. It shows how the ingenious suspension is used to level the truck:

 

No cab protector on the front of the body.....ingenious .

The truck leveler is mildly interesting. Do you know basically how it works...?

On air ride stuff we dump the air before dumping the load ..... But I'm sure that way is as old and backwards as our trucks

P.S. I like the 2 guys standing on the far side of the body while it's being loaded....

 

I assume it will be basically the same system as Citroën used on its cars. Hydraulic elements are connected to the axles, and the oil pipes are connected to gas filled tanks somewhere in the frame. The gas is the suspension, but by pumping in or releasing oil you can change the height and level the truck.

I suppose the customer didn't need/want a cab protector, Ginaf does use them on other trucks.
