Both are great ways to get killed! Yet we are the dumb ones?

The dump truck I showed you has a GVW of 141,000 lbs, and a payload of appr. 100,000 lbs. What can your dump truck handle, and how does a similar sized NA dump truck look?

What do you mean with "both"? This truck is only used for gravel, not big boulders. The driver of the wheel loader will have the necessary papers and certificates, so he is a real professional. EU cabs are also very strong.

But to make you happy, these clips show similar trucks with cab protector. I already posted these clips before, but so what.

These Australian made Kenworths but basically American trucks have a GVW of 170 tonnes / 375,000 lbs with a 130 tonne / 287,000 lb payload. European trucks with those weights don't last 5 minutes out here. The Europeans send them out for testing and to try and get customers and use them for advertising purposes, but everyone goes back to Kenworth, Mack and Western Star.

That is a roadtrain, and not a dumptruck. I asked for a dumptruck.

Dump truck with 4 trailers, American dump trucks usually have 2 so these are just a little bigger. By the way, it isn't just Americans who don't like European trucks, it's Australians as well. God knows we've got enough cabover Volvos over here, but they're only bought because they're cheap and only fit for urban or well paved interstate roads. Too much trouble with electronics and they have a reputation for a fragile build. Also they look cheap with lots of plastic, radiators are crap as well.

I showed you one dump truck, no trailers, just one truck. Please show me a similar vehicle.

Sometimes its best to keep ones mouth shut and be thought dumb rather than open it up and remove all doubt.
Both typical American and European trucks have advantages and drawbacks but some of the BS spewed to make a point just shows ignorance.

True. I showed you how small the Ginaf factory is, and yet they are selling their mining trucks all over the world, Europe, Asia (incl. China), Africa, South America. How likely is this then if these trucks fall apart by just looking at them, as some seem to suggest?

Normally I'm not going into discussions about the looks of a truck, unless it has to do with functional aspects like visibility and aerodynamics.

But for once I'm going to give comments on the looks of a truck. Look at that blue dump truck that was shown a few postings back. First you see a very big chrome bumper, an enormous hood, huge chrome air filters, a cab with a big chrome sun visor, and then two horns and two enormous chrome exhaust pipes that were seemingly borrowed from a Mississippi paddle steamer. And then the big deception, a very normal rather mid size dumper.

It reminds me of a video of very silly cross-breed between a pitbull and a dachshund I recently saw. It had the body of the dachshund and the head of the pitbull.
