You dont see hardly any 1456s around. My father inlaw has a 856 and a 1256 in his collection and I think those are rare, but a 1456 I dont hardly ever see. Very nice

Like @KVB was referring to earlier, it is pretty hard to beat the sound of a JD 466 firing up in 4955 and alike. They roar to life... I can almost smell the raw fuel! That Bosch P pump is seems way more capable vs Roosa Master.

Not much information out there, but in the 70's Kenworth offered an Allis Chalmers diesel. Think had a 450 HP one. I know of one local, but don't no much about the motor specs. Called them Big Al and painted purple. Someone else might chime in.

I've heard they were very unreliable, & Most got changed out very early on in the trucks Life..
