Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

Btw, on this whole how Tatra is great, and would kick ### in US.

By the way, it is also worth explaining how it happened that the Americans heard about the Tatras at all and are aware of their fantastic terrain properties. For this purpose, it is worth moving back to 2003, when Tatra was taken over by the American company Terex. The Tatras were then imported into the United States, offering them as equipment to work in the most difficult conditions. A separate American Truck Company (ATC) brand was created for this purpose, which in fact sold the Tatras with another American stamp.

The whole story did not last too long, as already in 2006 Tatra was sold by Terex. It was then returned to Czech hands, while the Americans withdrew from investing in the Czech Republic. Nevertheless, some contacts in America have been maintained and Tatra later collaborated, inter alia, with Navistar, when creating vehicles for the American brand. Today, however, Tatra cooperates very closely with the American company Paccar, which includes DAF, Kenworth and Peterbilt.

Seems like America couldn't appericate how great Tatra was, or it simply wasn't that good and needed.

Ha! Literally everything you submit here is from videos and Google searches. Remarkable how you can detect anything with no experience!

One of my drivers told me a story (not at mine company), friday, he loaded truck for UK with 6 drops, had only delivery notes (no CMR/BOL he was supposed to write it himself).

But, a new guy was supposed to drive there, so a nice weekend home.

So new driver is coming, he sees that pile of paperwork lying on trucks dashboard, and he tells my driver, that when he was being employed, nobody told him that he will have to write CMR himself!

So my driver asks him, have you ever driven a truck in your life?

And the guy is like, sure, I've even got experience with UK!

So then my driver gives him THAT look, and asks, how did you manage to drive a truck, even to UK, without ever writing any paperowork?

New guy tells him (with whole seriousness) in ETS2, meanwhile gets into his car, and drives home.

And instead of going home, my poor driver had another week in a truck with 6 deliveries in UK only o_O

    True story.

    I wrote:
I know that years ago Paccar US imported a small batch of DAF LF trucks into the US. Although they liked the trucks, the European dimensions of the frames caused some problems. So Paccar decided to more or less copy the DAF LF, using US frames and axles, but the same cabs and engines as the DAF LF.

You did not know that, so you decided to ask a silly question:
When confronted with a picture of the three trucks, you understood what I meant, at least I hope so.
But then you asked the same silly question again:
Asking the same silly question twice doesn't make it an intelligent question.

It's not a silly question, and you should answer it. Or is it silly because we all know the answer?

Statements like " Although they liked the trucks, the European dimensions of the frames caused some problems." mean nothing. Who liked the trucks, Americans? Can you be more specific?
