Is batteries under rider seat an option across the pond. Some of our trucks have batteries under the seat, while others it is a stowage box.

@KVB mentioned that some seats are so rare which is correct but there is a good reason for each of them. developing of seat is huge cost you can measure it in several of millions for each models.

I'm reasonably sure (but Don't know) that It's illegal to have the batteries in the Cab here In Australia. (Due to Fumes..) Mack fit them (If there's no space on the Chassis) in the Sleeper But in an externally vented Compartment..

Sure, you can get them also behind the cab, but that usually means smaller fuel tanks. And this is a big no-no for me.
