Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

Gotta love CAN fault codes. Had a recent one where a MX would throw a E-CAN fault and VGT fault about once a week. Dealer replaced VGT actuator and went two weeks before logged faults again. I ended up working on it and found slight corrosion on CAN pins to BPV. Repinned connectors and fault never came back.

 

You know me,i say it as i mean it.

BPV=.....???

 

Back pressure valve, butterfly valve after the turbo. For warmup/ EGR flow/and raise exhaust temp for regens. Same use as throttle valve, just on back door instead on inlet!
