Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

So the new 1851 is driving 59.2 km/h @ 1000 rpm, and the older truck is driving 68 km/h @ 1000 rpm. I'm sure the new one could drive far more economical at a lower rpm.

I know, we've seen that before.

We have here on higher parts of city. Not where i live.
On mountain above city arocs were working. -
Well he is well loaded and this is difficult route so obviously higher rpm are not problem, it avoid some gearshifts and get higher speed and balance that. He drive only that route so it is hard to know what would be with normal roads/lower totalweight. He have mp3 1848 with 580hp, 2.85dif and says 1851 shifts less. He says his 1845 use 3L less fuel than 1851Cat sdp Thanks this.

In the news yesterday.
We get a lot of fruit (oranges, strawberries etc.) and vegetables from Spain, the area around Valencia. It was always shipped by trucks (12,000 trips per year), but since today a train will take over. It will make three trips per week. Sounds easy, but the gauge of the tracks in Spain is different from the rest of Europe, so that takes some extra work. The train and the trucks both take 2 days for the 1000 mile distance. The trains causes 70% less CO2 emissions.
