Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

I didn't write it to criticize you. It's just very funny that a very rare truck like a LHD Foden Alpha turns up in the US.

I think I know what happened. The British forces in Germany used LHD vehicles, and when the British left Germany, these LHD vehicles were sold off. So this company bought a Foden Alpha, and shipped it to the US. Later they changed the Foden front for a DAF front.

 

My graphic came from the Paccar web site. Your graphic is dated 02/23/2017, so it is not a very recent one. I can see that you retrieved the information on 05/13/2019, so you are not to blame.

Perhaps you should call or mail Paccar and ask them to explain this discrepancy.

Indeed these documents have oil recommendations. But look at the dates on those documents, 6/5/2013 and 2/1/2016. A lot has happened since then.

The graphic I showed is from the current Paccar web site. It appears to me as if you get outdated information from the Engine Rapido web site. I suppose you have an account with them, so confront them with the conflicting information. That certainly is what I would do if I got conflicting information from the same company.

 

It's a 13 litre engine, remember?
But it is available in the W990, the successor of the W900.
