Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

The Mobil oil that I mentioned is for the European market as far as I'm aware, and I just used the spec sheet as an example of how a proper spec sheet for oil should look like. Oils usually have general specifications like API CK-4, or ACEA E9, and specific approvals from the engine manufacturers. You can get a Mobil 1 5W30 oil for VAG engines, and another one for BMW engines. It's the same with trucks, so if you want a CK-4 oil for a Ford engine, see if it has builder approval.

Exactly, and with our mixed fleet of newer and older engines that is we did and the EPA 10 MX13 among others still recommended 15W-40. I am sure with your fantasy fleet of DAF trucks you would be fine with a 10W-30.

I don't know what the problems are in the US, but over here you can get 5W30 oils that are approved by DAF. That Mobil 1 oil I showed is also meant for DAF trucks with extended drain (up til 150,000 km)

It will be getting 8" dummy straights. Def stains stacks if you dont stay on top of cleaning. Alot eaiser to put on dummy stacks and a weedburner. Also with underslung aftertreatment it gives you a passenger side toolbox. Couple that with a rear mounted def tank and its uhh... aftermarket ready. When that happens stacks will get hooked up.
