Trucks I've been behind the wheel of:
    T800
    W900A
    Volvo VN
    Freightliner Classic
    2002-2007 Western Stars
    Early 2000's Peterbilt 379
    International 7600's
    International WorkStar
    GMC Topkick C5500's
    Ford F550
    Peterbilt 335

    How many have you driven?

Oh and recheck that video. He even says the both hit 65 at the same time. The test was fastest to 65, not 64.

Yes, I know. US trucks can have very big sleepers. But that DAF cab is almost the standard cab for the DAF XF. Most of the trucks you show here, have a kind of narrow doghouse behind the cab, where you can't even stand up in the cab or the sleeper. Furthermore all the mattresses I could find for sleepers are too short, maximal 80 inch. The DAF has a mattress of 87 inch long, and believe me drivers here need 87 inch.

I’m pretty sure (positive) that my truck with a manual would win that first to 65 race.....over those two pos..

Wonderful, but I wrote that this salesman most likely had driven many more types of truck than you have.

That's what I wrote, but the automated truck shifted at about 64 mph, loosing time. When you watch the video carefully, you will notice that the automated truck is faster almost all of the time.

Thta's not the point. These trucks were the same, only the transmissions differed.

Yes, of course, on the other side of the truck is the exhaust system.
However, the five tanks are not the same . The three in the middle are wider than the other two. I assume the truck also has to deliver hydraulic pressure to steer the trailer axles, so perhaps three diesel tanks and two tanks with hydraulic oil?

Sorry, where are the 5 tanks? I must be missing something.
I see the large (2-compartment ?) tank (with the 4 straps) between the boxes. But I don't see all the other tanks.
