Old 9600 and 9800 are still on road and till Euro-2 is not banned in Europe they are used for international shipping too.

The 9800i appered on our market in 2008. There were two assembly plants in St.Pete and Odessa but they offered not so cool looking models.

It has the looks that North America loves.
On a other site off which i'm a member, the N A members admire the Magnum.
Even when it is pointed out to them that it was a cheap truck,it is the only EU truck they would like to have.

Only thing I like at Renault trucks is possibility to create interior space you want, although in reality no one do that , as drivers are lazy and too tired...and none of those concept ever lasted long......most of market simply keep buying classic 2seat-2bed layout

Fuel consumption is bad , entrance terrible, for a lot of time you could not stand inside, latter they raise cab for 20cm, quality low, it is not possible to sell it as used.....parts are unreasonably expensive

I do not care what the truck looks like, can it do the job and make money. Caesar points out all the advantages EU trucks have , I point out we had that 25 years back and evolved.
