Why do so many Americans hate European trucks?

Seems I stepped on someone's toes.

Remember that Kenworth salesman who explained that the beautiful chrome stack on the T800 was a dummy from 2017 onwards?

    That's pretty cool.
Guess I should have said west of Ontario.
To me the west means the Pacific Ocean to the ON border.

Curious, do they run 10 axles province wide, or just designated highways?
I have seen empty 10 axle B train decks with MB plates, but I suspect they run into Michigan.
Do you know what their gross weights are?

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Nah you didn't step on my toes. Just your snarky comments on everything that doesn't fit your image of what a truck "should" look like. Comments like only a moron would want a drop visor.

Some people keep the seat low to take pressure off their lower back. Never worked for me though.

Yes, because it is bloody dangerous like I explained. A truck like that is not a fashion statement, it is working truck. Road safety is paramount, good visibility from the cab is also paramount. Blocking half the already very small front window of that truck with a stupid sun visor, because it looks so good, is moronic. Seems very difficult to comprehend.

Remember the comparison between the W900 and the W990 I posted a while ago? That guy was very happy with the much better view from the bigger cab of the W990. From a professional truck driver we may expect that road safety is a top priority for him, not fashion statements like this silly sun visor.

I only really see them run between Fort Mac and the mill in Grassland. Not sure what their gross weights are but they use a "spine frame" trailer. Kinda neat and probably a lot lighter than a BC logging B-Train.

The they should spend money on a good seat. Over here a doctor can prescribe a seat specially tailored for you, if a off-the-shelf seat will not do.

I had back surgery in 1982 and got a proper education on seating positions and back care when I went through several months of rehab.
Sitting on the floor of the truck for extended periods of time was not what they described as good for your back.

What is your point, and what makes this a "nice" picture as opposed to just a picture?

A good seat and suspension is important and helps, but it's only part of the solution.
Rest, exercise, posture, seating position, ergonomics, conscious effort, do's and don'ts, they all come into play when talking back problems.
