not 2-4 , they dont have that much money, as they are not allowed to come in europe without visa, traders raise truck prices for cca 20 000€ , it is very rare someone of them buy trucks 2-4year old.

but when truck is up to 10year old it is possible to import it almost everywhere, some of their countries have 7y limit, most are 10, if truck pass 10year it lose its value significant as this limit its potential buyers, so it is mostly for parts

here manufacturers develop conversion kits for lower emission levels and bad fuel already when they release new models

most of those people want mercedes and nothing else, as they are most popular there and more durable than some other bands......... so it hold its price , 10year old MB can be 3x more expensive than other brands

    Cat sdp Thanks this.

they sometimes buy trucks like 5year old but , but most trucks have 2 owners in europe,

in Jordan Zarqa you will find tax free zone this is place to trade trucks, most of them end there, you need few days to walk this area with trucks , there is other places like that there

except MB they are wiling to buy Volvo only but it have to be manual, Scania used to be popular in Syria and Kurdistan but since it is war there not possible to sell it now for export , other brands are not possible to sell at all.......

they dont want low frame trucks, they avoid front air suspension, rear on springs is good too they pay far better for that, they have to convert it into springs.....

manual transmission is good for them, low cab, white color, and large volume engine,

if you have 2006 2051S in white color with retarder, manual transmission and low cab they would pay fortune for that

And don't forget many companies lease their trucks, after the lease period is over they get a new one.

That is true here also. Or also popular are buy back programs . Several companies I have worked for are cash and carry. Buy at steep discount, buying in bulk . Then know the manufacturer will buy them back at a set price. Buying 200 or more units , you be shocked the discount.
