I think it's an engine from this family of V12 engines:

that is not correct, it was not just assembly plant. they used to make special version of MAN trucks, all E series, HX SX were made there.
it was not assembly line, but they have fixed assembly, so each truck is done on same spot.
they could make products that complicated all other brands together could not make it.

of course this was expensive to make, so man discontinued most of those products, now man is no longer serious truck.

as a contrast, even MBS are make on assembly line with few "rest" spots for customization during production.

The present MAN V12 engines are a bit bigger, and go up to 2000 HP (marine versions)

This afternoon Dutch police stopped a Romanian truck, because they suspected the driver was drunk.

It was done on the proper way of course, ten police cars with flashing lights, two Apache helicopters in the air, and about 200 shots were fired at the arrest.
Just kidding of course, one very small unmarked police car with two officers, no guns were pulled.

The driver was indeed a bit intoxicated, he had 1210 µg/l of alcohol in his blood, and that's a bit more than the limit of 220 µg/l.

The fact that he was stark naked also pointed to some alcohol problems.
